  26. REQUIREMENTS

  28.  Can be used from CLI - a fast Amiga is recommended.

  30.  Used from CLI on an Amiga 1200 with a 40 MHz 030 and the standard
  31.  serial port, AmigaNPI consumes approximately 75% of available CPU
  32.  processor power.  This requirement drops to about 60% if an external
  33.  serial port (such as provided on the Surf Squirrel) is used.

  35.  Graphical user interface requires OS 2.0 (3.0 recommended) and
  36.  Magic User Interface v3.8.  On the same Amiga as above, AmigaNPI
  37.  consumes 80% of available CPU power when uploading a package.

  41.  1.3  - 12th December, 1997

  43.       - BUG FIX - Considerable change in MUI handling routines. This
  44.       will not be apparant to the user, but will hopefully result in
  45.       more people being able to run AmigaNPI.

  47.       - BUG FIX - Some cleaning up of the MUI display, and also
  48.         another replacement of a VWait with a Delay_(1)
  49.  
  50.       - NEW - CLI only v1.3 provided.

  52.       - NEW - attempts to load AmigaNPI.prefs from default directory
  53.       first. If AmigaNPI.prefs is found in the default directory,
  54.       then AmigaNPI will also try to save the prefs in the default
  55.       directory. If this fails, AmigaNPI will ask permission to try
  56.       to save AmigaNPI.prefs in the env: directory, but will only to
  57.       env: in the NEXT attempt. (This behaviour is more Amiga User
  58.       Interface Style Guide compliant).

  67.         Default is 64 bytes (used to be 8000 bytes!)

  69.       - BUG FIX - AmigaNPI was ALWAYS trying to set the buffer
  70.         length of 8000, and ALWAYS trying to set this buffer
  71.         length for serial unit zero!  This bug has been fixed.
